Richard mentions the importance of facing fear, which is something we all do as we develop and push our own limits, both in and out of the water. Mind exercises for surfing may include meditation, visualization, breathing and clearing methods that can be used as a part of any surfer workout or surf training program.
Our Minds often get blurred and kept running from the past or into the future. By adding surfing exercise mind work into our surfing workouts or into our actual surfing when paddling out or preparing to compete or surf we can greatly enhance our performance in the water.
